The Radster Road and Trail e-bikes are two brand-new models released by Rad Power Bikes for 2024.
The two versions of e-bikes are intended to be used for urban commuting and off-road riding (respectively), so they serve as alternatives for the ultra-popular RadCity Plus and RadRover Plus ebikes.
The Radster e-bikes boast 750W motors with 100 Nm of torque, as well as smooth torque sensors. These are also Rad’s first e-bikes capable of reaching a Class 3 28 mph top speed.

Similar story. We have had a Rad Power Bike that was good for 3 months. Spent 1600 on the bike another 300 for an accessory trailer and now neither are operable. Currently at a repair shop for 3 weeks which their last comment was the bike may not be safe to repair. Their reference was Rad is a box store quality bike.
In addition, customer service has not been helpful other than the axle which is the primary problem is not covered under their “limited warranty”. Buy a brand that actually cares about quality and safety of their products.
There is no way RAD bikes to be a high-end, yet affordable e-bike… this post is totally intentional… RAD bikes are the true cheap, low end Aliexpress bikes, sold in Seattle, WA. Feel sorry for all those sold on a sweet deal, only to find later that $500 less wasn’t worth it…

Actually, we didn’t write Rad Power Bikes make high-end bikes because they don’t. We wrote they make high-quality yet affordable e-bikes, which we believe is true considering the price point, which is entry-level to mid-range.
Yes. The writers are absolute right. We have had ours since last fall. Customer support is not existent. The warranty is a farce. If your read the warranty it only works if you to through tech support. They use all kids of tricks to not get in touch with you. There basically is no help. They say they will try to hook you up with someone local to help you. This comes as an additional cost if you or they can find someone. One of our bikes has been bricked for a week I have yet to get any help after phone call and numerous tech support calls. They deleted my orginal test support phone call. They also send you a video or troubleshooting and tell you do the steps either before you call or after you call. Don’t buy one. You will regret it.
the company is the worst I have ever seen regarding service and delivery promises. The bike may be fine, but my wife’s the derailer keeps knocking the chain off. I have literally been on hold for 1 hour and they do not call back or anything. I think this is a very poorly run company and i can not say enough how much they frustrate me.
